Note : The Gothic Novel […] emerged in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries, inspired by the architectural style of the same name. Usually the setting consists of a castle or manor in an isolated location, away from any city or civilization. Appréciez leurs écritures d’invention à partir d'un extrait des Hauts de Hurlevent d'Emily Brontë, découvrez des romans de la fin du 18ème ou du 19ème siècle, des peintures, des illustrations appartenant au genre gothique.

Note : Le roman gothique est apparu à la fin du XVIIIe siècle et au début du XIXe siècle, inspiré par le style architectural du même nom. Le cadre est généralement un château ou un manoir situé dans un endroit isolé, loin de toute ville ou civilisation.
